Human After All Lyrics

Some songs have in depth and interesting lyrics that challenge you to think and consider new concepts. It would be a stretch to say that Human After All is one of those songs. However, chances are good that when you’re listening to what Daft Punk created you might end up thinking about the nature of being human, emotions, and more, which is really what they were going for. For about half the song the lyrics are a repetition of the following:

We are human, after all.

Flesh uncovered, after all.

For the second half of the song they repeat the word human 15 times and then follow it up with an after all. If you’re a fan of Daft Punk then you’re probably not into their lyrics so much as you are the beats they come up with, the sounds they generate with their drum machines and other instruments, and the light shows they put on at their concentrates. It’s more about the experience than what they’re trying to say. Of course, some have criticized the song for being far too repetitive and they’re not entirely wrong about that. It’s really quite repetitive but that can be just fine when you’re looking to zone out.
